Time Capsule Opening!
Opening the letter (Time Capsule is in the bottom right corner) SS: I can ask questions and take steps to gather information; SS: I can explore first-hand artifacts; SS: I can learn about and appreciate our past and think about the legacy we leave Here, you can see one of our lucky students is opening a letter addressed: "Open in the Year 2022"! Yesterday, we were given an exciting gift: a Time Capsule from 25 years ago! It was gifted to our school by a former teacher: Ms Kruk. Her class made the time capsule in the school year 1996-1997. Each student from her class put an artifact that they had that was valuable to them into the time capsule. There are also special donations from other important people like a police badge, a letter from the Mayor, a letter from Alberta's Premier from the time, Ralph Klein, and a letter from the Prime Minister, Jean Chretien. There were 70 objects in the time capsule altogether. They were very cool objects that are unique and like treasur...
